Iman Shad is an associate with Knox Lemmon & Anapolsky, LLP.

Mr. Shad graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy of industrial societies in 1992 and from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with a Master of Arts in international affairs in 1995. Mr. Shad also earned a Graduate European Community Program Diploma from Sciences-Po, Institut D’Études Politiques De Paris in 1994.

He earned his Juris Doctorate from U.C. Davis in 1999, where his studies focused on litigation and international law.

Mr. Shad was admitted to practice in California in 2000, and has also been admitted to practice in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

In law school, Mr. Shad served as an extern for both Associate Justice Rodney Davis of the Third Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal and for U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Charlene Barshefsky. He was editor of the U.C. Davis Journal of International Law and Policy and a member of both the U.C. Davis National Trial Team and Jessup International Moot Court Team.

Prior to joining Knox Lemmon & Anapolsky, LLP, Mr. Shad served as a Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento County for nearly four and one half years.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, and the State Bar of California.
